Unfailing Love

Have you ever longed for love? Of course you have. Everyone has. It's built in us as human beings; we are all made with the desire to love and be loved. Without love, we are nothing and life is nothing.

Have you ever felt heartbroken? As though you're not worth love, or worth anything at all? As though you will never feel whole, happy, or loved? I think you have. We all have, at some point or another. 

Well, maybe we could get this "love", this thing that seems to be the only answer to the empty and horrible void every human holds in their soul, if only we knew what love even is.

Well, lemme tell you exactly what it is.

God.

God is love.

"Whoever is without love is without God, for God is love. In this way the love of God was revealed to us: God sent his only Son into the world so that we might have life through him. In this is love: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as expiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us we also must love one another." - 1 John 4:7-11

And only He, the very creator of your heart, soul, and spirit, can truly satisfy it. Because only He knows your heart inside and out, every flaw, every pain, every memory, every desire and longing, every weakness.. everything. And YET, it is HE who loves you for it. He loves you more than you can even imagine, for His love is heavenly and divine, literally out of this world and filled with just pure love and no flaws or holes. Pure love. stronger than anything in this world, for from this divine love, He sent His only begotten Son to this painful earth.. so that through His life and death and resurrection, we may not perish but instead have ETERNAL life with our Blessed Creator in Heaven.

"For God so loved the world that he have his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life. For god did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him." -John 3:16-17

So, to fill this empty and painful void inside our souls which we previously have tried to fill with many worldly things, we must turn to God. Through His only Son, Jesus Christ, we are forgiven if we truly mean it with our heart and once trusting in the Lord and His will, your life truly starts. You will be revealed to the meaning of life, of love, of yourself. It's time for us to go and truly be children of God, and give Him the praise He deserves!
